Ayse was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Istanbul University. During her internship time at Philadelphia when she was a junior, she decided to come back to America for higher education. After her undergrad completion, she came to Carbondale, IL and pursued her Master’s degree in Exercise Science at the Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
During her grad school, she worked with Saluki Athletics; specifically, Football, Women’s basketball and Men’s basketball. Besides working with college athletes, she was also Teaching Assistant for 2 years at SIU Carbondale. She gained knowledge about strength and conditioning in regards to different sports and different levels. Also, different approach for exercise modalities enhanced her ability to be a better coach.
Before moving to US, she played a college volleyball back in Turkey. Grabbing her camera in her free time to enjoy wherever she is at is one of her favorite hobbies. Since she is thousands of miles away from her loved ones, she loves to FaceTime with them every single day.
With a master’s degree in Exercise Science and being a collegiate athlete Istanbul, Ayse brings a unique style to her training helping clients reach their longevity goals.
